Netbook Reflection

The biggest change this year was pencil and paper and swapping it with a Netbook. In term one when I started with my Netbook it was very difficult.When I was holding it I had to look after it and use it as a learning tool, so I don’t drop it. When we all have our chromebook we had to learn, but the most thing I learnt was knowing how to type and do shortcuts on my chromebook.

So as all of us started our test in our netbook, it was kind of tricky on the test. We all had to use our own words and type it on our netbook but we couldn’t look on each others screens. As we all still type on our chromebook but we were using some delightful words and we have to be specific. I started to lose my words but I was looking at the words on google research and I got my words so I typed it up on my netbook  and  the test just finish in 40 minutes.

The best thing about using netbooks for learning is doing hard work with others.But usually my friends help me how to do my learning. Now I know what to do and how to post some of my work on my blog. Next year I want to use my netbook as a learning tool as the time.

Piha beach and golfing

Last week all of my cousins and I went to a beach called Piha beach.When we got there we were so excited to walk up the stairs to the top.So as all of us went to the top  we keeped walking,walking and stoped we had a rest. After that we went down stairs and it was so windy when my cousins and I went, and my beanie got blown away.

The next place we went to is the fish and chips shop. My big cousin and my other cousin went to go buy some fish and chips. So when we looked at the food and all of us were starving for some food. My cousins and I were eating, eating and still eating we were finish and my cousin said we a going to golf and my cousins and I were so excited to go there.

We got there and I was so tied to hit the ball so I keept trying then it worked so my first shot by fifty meters. My cousin was so good at golfing he got up to one hundred meters and I was so thrilled. So I tried again and I missed but I still tried and I nearly reached to one hundred metters but my other cousin tried she got it in one hundred and fifty  meters. So all of us kept training and trained so who can be the far distance. My cousin started first and he got it by fifty meters and I was second so I had to beat my cousin and I came first, but my cousin was left so he was thinking how he was going to beat my score and he beat my score and I was so frustrated at him, but in a funny way.

I enjoyed playing golf and Piha beach. Next time I might go to a better place.

The five little pigs

P1.One day there was a mother living with five little pigs were being lazy.The mother went to  the big house to go cook some pizza for the five little pigs.The mothers job was going to a bakery to cook some sausage roll,pizza bread and some bread. And the five little pigs were supposed to go to school village.

P2.When the mother came home she asked the five little pigs “Did you go to school?” so the five little pigs replied “Yes we did”. So the mother asked the mouse wanted to find out how they didn,t go school and the mouse replied i don’t know.

Favourite characters

On the morning room 14 was going  to a trip called kelly tarltons. Room 14 was excited to go there.suddenly the bus just arrived now.When we got to the bus we have to fill up the seat’s.After that everybody in the bus was noisy,shouting and singing.

Scott base is a research center found in Antarctica.It is own by New Zealand.It was named after captain Robert Falcon Scott base Antarctica explore.was at Ross island at mount Erebus.

 * Mothers came back from one month and feed their baby's.

* The mothers feed their chicks by their beak's.

* Now it is the dad's turn to go out and find the baby's food.

* Just before the father penguins hop in the sea they see a leopard seal.

* Sadly, one penguin gets eaten by a leopard seal. 

  

this  morning I have been learning how to take core samples.We took samples from a cupcake and guessed what the core inside looked like.In real life geologists take samples of what is under the land.

Weekend Recount

In the weekend’s me and my family went to mission bay with my cousin’s birthday.we were swimming in the beach on the water.and my cousin and i were making a sand castle in the beach.It was so fun in mission bay in weekend’s me and my cousin really enjoy it.
